The Invincible First Look

The Invincible has released a "first look" trailer via GamesRadar's YouTube channel and judging by the screen branding we would guess that they presented this during the Golden Joystick Awards.

We see a bit more than was shown in the teaser trailer, but this is another short video and it's still early days.

Amazon Mass Effect Series

In an exclusive interview with Amazon Studios Head Jennifer Salke which focuses on their Wheel of Time series, Deadline learned that Amazon is negotating a deal to develop a Mass Effect series based on the popular sci-fi roleplaying computer game.

Just a few weeks ago Mass Effect celebrated their annual N7 day and released a new poster entitled "Mass Effect will continue".

At a recent Warhammer 40,000 tournament in Spain, event organisers found themselves in a bit of a pickle.

An individual wearing Nazi symbols entered under the name, Pintor Austriaco which translates as Austrian painter. This is a reference to Adolf Hitler.

Star Citizen Tops 400

Just yesterday we were remarking on how much money Star Citizen had raised through crowdfunding.

Yesterday, as reported by Eurogamer, they passed the 400 million mark, the last 50 million of that having been raised over the past 8 months.

In contrast to many general film and TV awards, sci-fi is very well represented.

Outriders New Horizon

Sci-fi "we're not a live service" shooter Outriders has released a free update called New Horizon and also announced an expansion coming next year called Worldslayer.

There is a combined trailer for both and also a more detailed 10 minute spotlight video about today's free update.
