Haven Couples Update

Roleplaying / survival video gave Haven stands out from a very large crowd on one key feature - you don't play one character. You play as two. A couple.

A new update titled Couples doesn't explode the playing field and have you playing multiple couples. Rather players now have a choice of couples and those choices include same-sex pairings.

Jurassic Camp

Dinosaur theme park simulator Jurassic World Evolution 2, based on the popular Jurassic Park films, has released a trailer for an upcoming DLC (downloadable content) titled Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack.

The pack introduces two entirely new dinosaurs and two from the popular the Netflix series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous which just released its fourth season in December.

Ending a month of exclusive reveals, IGN have published their final preview for upcoming whacky looter shooter Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

Additionally the developers have released an official gameplay overview which is 24 minutes showing a quest from beginning to boss-stomping end. And also published class skill trees.

The Ascent on PS

Cyberpunk action roleplaying game, The Ascent, has announced a March 24 release date for Playstation 4 and 5. It had previously been a PC and Xbox exclusive.

Of course there's a trailer.

THQ Nordic have released a curiously titled "Explanation Trailer" for their upcoming sci-fi / fantasy roleplaying game, Elex II.

While an odd choice for a trailer title, it is as advertised. Full of explanation.

Destiny 2's Risen

Today Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion went live and with it came details and a trailer for their update Season of the Risen.

For any non-gamers confused by that sentence, Destiny 2 is the base game. The Witch Queen is a paid, major content addition. Season of the Risen is a free update to the base game.

Originally developed as a Google Stadia exclusive by Canberra indie development studio Uppercut Games, Submerged: Hidden Depths is coming soon to PC (Steam), Xbox and Playstation.

Not just generically soon either. They've just set a date. March 10.

NMS Sentinel Update

Hello Games have released their Sentinel Update for No Man's Sky accompanied as we'd expect by a trailer.

In addition to overhauling sentinels - who are the game's primary opponents - player weapons have been spruced up.

Destiny 2 Trailer

Ahead of the expansion itself, Bungie have released their launch trailer for Destiny 2's The Witch Queen.

It has flash, sizzle, music with a great beat and no, no, no that's absolutely not a "lightsaber" towards the end.

CP2077 Version 1.5

Making good on yesterday's promise of news today, CD Projekt Red today released long anticipated version 1.5 of Cyberpunk 2077. Full patch notes and a trailer are also available.

These notes are relatively short and worth a read if you play but we'll look at some of the major changes.
