While not immediately spacey, obviously out-of-the-ground agricultural technology has enormous applications for travelling and or living in space. Or living on bodies without atmospheres like the moon or Mars.

Bloomberg reports that the first vertical farming startup is about to be listed on the US NASDAQ. Boring.

But there are some fascinating comparison statistics to traditional farming and the technological advances being made in this field.

Ruin for Disney Sci-Fi Actor

Looper, seemingly independently of the actor in question, report that Disney's flop John Carter ruined star Taylor Kitsch's then blooming career.

Probaby an accurate claim.

Films are the culmination of often years of planning, writing, filming and post production but viewers only see the actors and tend to associate excellence or lack thereof with them, the franchise or maybe studio.

Stars of flops often fade away into obscurity.

Wonder Woman 1984 is now available on Netflix and Binge.

It had previously been available as a rent or buy title on several digital services.

While not as good (critics 59%, audience 73%) as the earlier film (critics 93%, audience 84%), it's still moderately enjoyable.

As with Justice League, 1984 is hampered by DC's poor attempt to capitalise on 80s nostalgia.

Over the weekend the BBC played an ultra short teaser clip for season 13.

There's nothing new to see in it but this is likely the BBC warming up for release.

Already confirmed for a UK 2021 release there's not much time left anyway but we're still without a date.

There has been no official word for Australia but we would expect a near simultaneous release here.
