German developer Nukklear have announced a partnership with Funcom on the upcoming multiplayer surival game, Dune.
There aren't any substantial new details here but we might infer that the popularity of this year's Dune film has encouraged Funcom, or new owners Tencent, to upscale their vision for this project.
David Lynch's 1984 Dune is widely regarded as a bit of a stinker and even Lynch himself disowns it citing interference from above. It won Worst Picture in the 7th Stinkers Bad Movie Awards.
In an interview with Games Radar, Ridley Scott reveals that it was stink which caused him to leave that Dune during pre-production.
