Well known to sci-fi fans for his roles in Dune (1984), Quantum Leap, and the Battlestar Galactica reboot, actor Dean Stockwell has died in his sleep of natural causes.
Science-fiction often doesn't fare well in entertainment awards, but he impressively received 4 Primetime Emmy nominations for best supporting actor plus two Golden Globe nominations and a win for his Quantum Leap role.
Holywood Reporter has published an exclusive on Warner Bros' decision to sell Matrix NFTs (non-fungible tokens, i.e. digital items).
They'll sell 100,000 unique Matrix-inspired characters for $50 (USD) and owners will be given the movie's blue or red pill choice and some kind of ongoing engagement.
USA Today have published exclusive photos for upcoming movies and among them is one for The Matrix: Resurrections.
Gritty, dirty and worried are not usually what people look for in a tender moment image.
But one of the subtle messages this image is probably intended to communicate is that this movie isn't Jupiter Ascending, where the tone was not universally appreciated.
Science-fiction is moderately well represented, except in comedy, but looks completely different to the recent Saturns. Between them Star Wars and to a lesser extent, Star Trek dominated. Especially in wins.
