Andor Timeline Teaser

Lucasfilm have released a timeline teaser for Star Wars prequel series Andor.

That timeline isn't very confusing. Andor (series) then Rogue One (film) then Episode IV - A New Hope (film).

Netflix with Ads

In order to beat Disney to the finish line, Netflix have moved up plans to introduce a new ad-supported tier from next year to this November.

Whether Australia will be included in that November rollout isn't known.

New Tales From

2K have released a new character trailer and also a generous 18 minutes of gameplay from their upcoming interactive narrative New Tales from the Borderlands.

We don't have time to watch their gameplay video but the Gamescom trailer was excellent and the kind of quality we had expected when this title was first announced in April.

Goofy Grace

In an interview with Interview (yes, that's right), Sigourney Weaver has dropped a cryptic and unexpected tease about her character in the upcoming Avatar: The Way of Water film.

I think if Jim Cameron didn’t know me really well, he wouldn’t have cast me as something as goofy as this.

The Rings of Power

We're going to step briefly but firmly outside of sci-fi to address Amazon's The Rings of Power, which we've done before in our show addressing anti-diversity sentiments as a general entertainment issue.

Amazon have temporarily suspended their rating system amidst concerns that it may be being review bombed but the reality of that is unclear.

Cyber Tease

With anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners debuting on Netflix this month, many would expect some kind of promotional tie-in with the action roleplaying video game Cyberpunk 2077.

Developers CD Projekt Red have teased as much with a short video advising fans to tune into their next Night City Wire on September 6 at 5 p.m. CEST (September 7 at 1 a.m. AEST).

Artemis I Attempt II

NASA have scheduled their second launch attempt for the Artemis I rocket with a two hour launch window starting at 2:17 p.m. EDT on September 3, which locally will be 4:17 a.m. on September 4.

One for the early birds.

Perfectly Imperfect

During their Geeked Week event in June Netflix surprised everyone with a new series which hadn't originally been on their schedule for this year - The Imperfects.

They've now dropped its trailer which includes a release date just little over a week away.
